Sydney siders favourite Sunday party will soon celebrate its 6th Birthday on June 12, the Queens Birthday Long Weekend. Coming off the back of an ANZAC weekend 13 day ticket sellout the SOS crew have followed the bigger is better notion for this milestone, and will take over the Hordern Pavillion and its surrounding outdoor courtyard with a huge line-up including two of Miami’s hottest and most inform performers, Grammy winning Deep Dish and Danny Howells.

Speaking to RA, Sounds front man and DJ Ben Korbel is obviously excited:After our We Love… Sydney event at Luna Park, we wanted to take things up a notch for our sixth birthday and so The Hordern made a lot of sense. Danny Howells and Deep Dish on the same sound system used for The Chemical Brothers last tour is something not to be missed. Suffice to say we’re pretty excited about We Love… Sounds.
The first beat of many will be sent through the impressive Hordern system at 4:00pm until 2:30am. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday April 26 from the Sounds website and expect more artists to be announced shortly.
