With Friday upon us, it's time for another radio update.
Essential Mix
Essential Mix on Radio 1Something a little different this week for Essential Mix as it feature the varied talents of D'n'B legend Andy C. Regarded as one of the heavyweights of the genre, tune into Essential Mix from 1am (GMT) on Sunday, 1st May to hear the sounds of some quality D'n'B. A definite essential listen!

Proton Radio
Proton RadioAnother action packed week for Proton Radio and here are some of the highlights. On Saturday, 30th April, Blueprint hosted by Habersham & Numinous will feature Darius Kohanim. Darius is one of the members of Panopticon who have been responsible for the progressive stormer 'Revealing the Door'. Tune in as the show starts at 9am (EST). On Monday, 2nd May the highly respected Pole Folder will be guest on Dedicated hosted by Jonathan Ojeda and Jeff Belfi. With a new album release imminent, tune into the show at 12pm (EST) for some quality tuneage. Vapourized returns on Tuesday, 3rd May and will feature the many talents of its hosts Kasey Taylor and Chris Meehan. The show kicks off at 9am (EST).

Breezeblock
Breezeblock on Radio 1Another cool session from Breezeblock this week as they feature the tasty sounds of Luke Vibert and Drop the Lime. Set your dials for 11pm (GMT) on Monday, 2nd May for some aural goodness.

Frisky Radio
Due to a major increase of listeners, Frisky Radio has revamp their site. So to celebrate the launch of the new web site, friskyRadio will be broadcasting a very special edition of Focus featuring an exclusive live set by Kasey Taylor and Chloe Harris on Monday, 2nd May kicking off at 1pm EST. In future, not only will there be more exclusive shows from DJs all over the world but the new site also features podcasts of exclusive Frisky shows, beamed directly to user's iPods.

The Residency
The Residency on Radio 1A new show to look out for and keep in minds is The Residency, which begins Sunday, 1st May at 3am GMT. The DJs on rotation will be Eddie Halliwell, the very hot Nic Fanciulli, Jon O’Bir, Kutski, Crissy Criss and Trophy Twins. A very diverse range of DJs to cover the varying styles of dance music. Sunday will see Eddie Halliwell kick things off with the inaugural show.
