Banking off last years success will see the 2005 South West Four festival kicking it up a notch by securing some of the finest DJ talent money can buy.

Last year's debut South West Four event was nothing but a huge success! Sasha, Lee Burridge, Morillo and X-Press 2 absolutely rocked the 10,000 capacity crowd on Clapham's Common on a stunning Summers day. So the announcement of the 2005 party was always to be looked forward to.

Banking off last years success will see the 2005 South West Four festival kicking it up a notch by securing some of the finest DJ talent money can buy. Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox and Steve Lawler are just some of those confirmed at the SW4 launch party at Heaven, London last Friday night.

This year SW4 is on August 27 and from the looks of the early line-up could easily be the best London festival of the season. The refined 'Main Outdoor Arena' will feature Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox and James Zabiela. Alongside the Shapeshifters and Eric Prydz who will no doubt be cheesing it up earlier in the afternoon with their infamous no.1 hits 'Lola's Theme' and 'Call On Me' respectively.

Steve Lawler hosts the 'Space Terrace Arena' in an exciting attempt to recreate the vibe that has made the Space Terrace in Ibiza world renowned. The arena will also host 'the last ever festival set' (a claim we are yet to confirm) by one of the UK oldest men in the business Danny Rampling. Joining them will be young man Nic Fanciulli, Paul Woolford and Space residents Jose Divina and Sin Plomo.

The third and final tent is the Heat Arena assuring the festival covers the major musical bases. It will feature the harder dance/trance sounds with the turntables controlled by Tall Paul, John '00' Fleming and more still to be announced.

Look out for an interview with Steve Lawler in the coming days on RA as he tells us about his latest Lights Out compilation, his planned 2005 Ibiza lifestyle and event a bit about festivals.
