The Vibewire crew are known to push the sounds of quality throughout Sydney at a series of parties where the focus is firmly on having a good time and enjoying fresh sounds from impressive locals. Wired For Sound will encompass all those elements with a showcase of the great live electronic and dance music coming out of Sydney, from the soulful sounds of Coda to the joyful hip hop of Chaos Maths to the tasty electro of OllO to the psychedelic meanderings of Purdy.
These diverse acts have been brought together by a coalition of promoters involving circuitry (.lucid, zero Kelvin), Beats and Peaces (Fourplay, Downsyde, Hopscotchin’), High Jinks and MumboJumbo to celebrate the recent relaunch of and to raise funds for non-profit youth media and arts website Vibewire.net. Vibewire.net is an independent politics, arts, culture and community site run entirely by volunteers and dedicated to providing opportunities for people to express themselves on the issues which matter to them and to represent the culture they care about.
