Melbourne underground house night preSSure is set to return to the scene on Friday 5 August at Arthur's. In the past preSSure have hosted nights with acts and DJs such as prog rocker James Lauer (US), breaks guru EK, Jaytech (Canada), Ryan Papa, and Dan Wright (Sydney).

This time around the preSSure crew have geared things up moving to monthly parties on the first Friday of each month! Their chosen venue, Arthurs on the newly renamed AC/DC Lane in the Melbourne CBD, is a new venue for Melbourne clubbers. The residents of preSSure are also top notch with lineup of Sean Quinn, Jono Fernandez, Dan Mangan and Keltec. Upcoming talents also get a go with Drew K, Andi Red and live act 3 Red Bee playing too. 3 Red Bee is Andi Red and singer Sara Bee joined by Myke Ireland on effects.

The relaunch will also feature a LIVE broadcast on the newly returned to the airwaves dance station, Kiss FM. Doors open from 9pm broadcast from 11pm. Entry is a very cheap $5 guestlist/$8 on the door. This will be one party not to miss!

Tue, 09 Aug 2005Massive thankyou to all the    peeps that came down (Habib was great to meet you) Place was packed when we played, and response was fantastic, so yay Unfortunatley I didn't catch Keltec or Jono's sets, but from all reports they played well. Mangan put in a stella effort and was great to see Quinny on the decks again. Love Arthurs as a venue, but agree they need to re-address their door policy. Apologies to anyone that had issues getting in, to make you feel better the security... More
