- With Gavin Keitel's Electric 01 album already receiving positive press RA spoke to one of Australia's finest about his appraoch to the mix.
To those in Australia Gavin Keitel is a consistently good performer who over the past decade has grown with the scene and helped shape the forward thinking approach of Australia’s most diverse home of electronic music, Melbourne. They know him as one of their favourites, a quiet achiever, who hasn’t conformed to a the ‘big record’ fad and yet still has them jumping up and down begging for more by playing records crafted from small industrial towns in Germany and Balkan states.
He has built a rapport with down under and has recently been asked by EQ, the home of the successful ‘Balance’ releases, to compile and mix the first in their new Electric series. ‘Electric 01’ will allow Gavin to showcase his diverse approach to the worlds keen electronic ears and we expect them to stand up and take notice.
With the album already receiving positive press RA caught up with the man himself.
