Even when Bedrock was consistently monthly, there was an air of excitement that other London events could only aspire to achieve preceding each event. Now that the nights occur sporadically each announcement gets the usual Thursday night faithful salivating at the prospect of another Bedrock school night extravaganza.

The next installment will mark Bedrock’s Anniversary with a special one-off party at Fabric on Thursday 13 October. Bedrock, the night, began as a small series of parties in John Digweed’s native town of Hastings, but has since carried its forward thinking formula to London, Brighton, Russia, Ibiza, Japan and America. Bedrock Records was born six years ago with him and production partner Nick Muir progressive masterpiece ‘Heaven Scent’ having a huge impact on dancefloors around the globe.

With the recent addition of Bedrock Breaks, and the main label continuing to produce albums and singles of quality it is fitting that the nights line-up encompasses a host of stars associated with the label. Fittingly one of London’s best clubs will house the night, with John very pleased to be cutting his cake at Fabric:
"It's been a special year for me and Fabric; marking the 20th in their CD series was a great moment so it's even more pleasing to bring the only Bedrock party this year and it's Anniversary to Fabric. This night will showcase some of the best talent that's had an association with Bedrock in the last year. In my mind the combination of the club and its awesome sound system, the line up, the crowd and that something special we always have with a Bedrock Anniversary will make for an unmissable night in London!"
Room two will see Bedrock team up with Rennie Pilgrem's TCR, whilst Demi and the Deeper Substance crew will take charge in third room.
