Having been around for so long and had his name on countless record sleeves, it's hard to believe that the upcoming release "Dead Famous" on Kingsize is the debut album for one of dance music's most well-known house, breaks and electro producers.
We are of course talking about Dylan Rhymes (aka Marvin Beaver) who drops his long player 'Dead Famous' on Kingsize Records next week. Having worked alongside production partner Anthony Gorry to come up with an album's worth of material and singles, it's highly likely that the forthcoming year will see several of the tracks finding their way onto compilations; further enhancing his reputation as a pop/dance crossover genius.
Whether it be the seminal 'Naked And Ashamed' (used by Smirnoff) or this year's chart smash 'Salty', it's likely you've heard the Dylan Rhymes sound before.
This release will include funk, grunge, poppy and electro sounds. The full album 'Dead Famous' will be out through Kingsize on October 10.
