- MJ Cole comes to Melbourne to see off Australia’s Ambassador and pioneer of UK Garage, Lady Erica, who returns to the UK at the end of the month.
Britain’s No. 1 UK Garage producer and DJ, MJ Cole is heading to Australia. He'll be headlining a special party in Melbourne to see off Australia’s Ambassador and pioneer of UK Garage, Lady Erica, who returns to the UK at the end of the month. The party takes place on Friday 25 November at Circus in Prahan.
The word ‘quality’ and MJ Cole have run hand in hand right from the start of his diverse and inspirational career. MJ Cole is known for his productions including the top ten hit ‘Crazy Love’, the albums ‘Sincere’ and ‘Cut To The Chase’, plus a Mercury nomination and MOBO Best Producer award. He has also worked as a producer, remixer and arranger with Tom Jones and Mariah Carey and others of their ilk. To the dedicated clubber and dance music follower though, MJ Cole is a true pioneer of the UK Garage scene, an urban legend no less, who retains a deep respect on the ever-discerning underground.
Lady Erica, best known for running the now legendary Double O, one of the world’s longest running UK Garage nights (4.5 years) and hosting RRR’s Underground Flavas radio show will be playing her last set in Melbourne on this night. It's a huge homage to her that MJ Cole will be playing alongside her.
