One such party that will throw its hat into the ring as a serious contender for welcoming in the new year is Circo Loco at The End on January 01. Headed up by founders Andrea Pelino and Antonio they have built a reputation as the must-go underground party at DC:10 in Ibiza. Opting for a cutting-edge musical direction to be enjoyed by the sleep deprived on Monday mornings the event has struck a cord with many British clubbers enjoying the Spanish isle and on the first day of 2006 many will be able to throw themselves in to Circo Loco, feeling just as shabby as they did during the summer when they walked into the famous hanger. Heading up the main room line up is DC:10 regular and German minimal guru, Steve Bug. Synonymous with label Poker Flat, Steve defined some of their early releases and continues to influence the direction and style of a label that continues to impress. and music of today. Representing Circo Loco are residents Clive Henry, Fabrizo and Loco Dice. East London Warehouse party people Mulletover present a showcase with main man Geddes joined by Bushwacka!, X-Press 2’s Rocky and Audiofly. Possibly the most exciting name on the bill is that of Traum DJ & producer Dominik Eulberg. A regular on the mainland European circuit where he is hugely in demand, London hasn’t yet come under his spell, which considering the genius of the man is a huge surprise. Expect his profile to increase on this side of the pond in 2006. Halo, who have just recently announced a new residency at The Cross, will be in control of AKA.
