Deep Dish, who last week were among those nominated for two Grammy's, have just finished filming Sacramento the latest single from their 2005 artist album 'The George Is On'.

The Sacramento video clip was directed by Rainbows and Vampires, who have in the past done great work for The Strokes, Le Tigre and David Gray. The video features cameos by BT and the comedian Maz Jobrani and was shot an hour outside of LA.

Mon, 12 Dec 2005Sorry Paul ….. the number does nothing for me. I think, no, I know it is the “rock” element (guitar-string) that “bothers” me plus the “Raemon” sounding voice. Sticking my neck out now…. but for me DD is going too commercial. Not talking about their gigs but the releases lately, if I compare that to their earlier sound….. Needless to say this is my personal opinion……
