- Sounds and Sweet Chilli turn on a night of international guests at the monthly Mini Chilli event in Sydney on Friday 6 January. One guest is Zombie Nation, who will be performing live and the other guest is a secret! The event headliner, Zombie Nation, is one of Germany’s most revered electro live acts, (live). His performance in Sydney follows his appearance at Sunshine People in Melbourne on New Years Day. The poster-boy of Dj Hell's stable of International Deejay Gigolos, Zombie Nation is responsible for minimal electro anthems Kernkraft400 and as John Starlight the devilish hit Blood Angels! Appearing alongside Zombie Nation will be another very famous European DJ/producer, also in the electro genre. A closely guarded secret now, the name will be revealed on 1 January (presumably after the DJ has finished their "exclusive" Australian appearance at a NYe/NYD party). Keep your eyes posted to the Sweet Chilli and Sounds websites for the name of the mystery DJ. Entry is $20 on the door and doors open 10pm – 6am. Capacity is very, very limited in the Civic Theatre and so early arrival is recommended.
