The electronic music creativity stemming from South America has never been in question. Another fine example of this is a new label from San Salvador, El Salvedor; Istmo Music.
The Central American labels philosophy is to focus on some of the most innovative talents from South America and provide them with an outlet of exposure to the world. Already casting a wide net and showing their ambition to release a wide avreity of sounds artists such as Santiago Nino (Colombia), Bebop (Guatemala), Casta (Guatemala), Francis Davila (Guatemala), Van Lazarux (Panama), and Edifon (USA) all already on the roster.
Extending their umbrella to encompass a lot more than just the three imprints, Dub Tech Recordings, Itzamna Recordings, and Istmo Music releases the group already have program radio shows throughout the region, and An Istmo Music exchange tour in Central America is currently in the making.
