Who better to put some romance back into techno than Kompakt with the first release for 2006 on their main label coming from Jonas Bering in the form of "Behind This Silence".
Described as 'vinyl pressed love to harmony', the accordions and delicate melodies on the title track pull on the heartstrings in much the same way as last November's "Sweets & Love" from SCSI-9 .
"Behind This Silence" is the fourth 12" release from Frenchman Jonas Bering on the Cologne label which has always aimed to put feelings and emotions before technique and structure. It follows on from his earlier full-length releases "Bienfait" and "Sketches For The Next Season". The 4-track release also features three tender ambient tech-house cuts on the flip which should put some warmth back into the icy western European winter.
Jonas Bering's "Behind This Silence" is available now on vinyl at all good record stores and as an mp3 download at the Kompakt MP3 store . Post a comment
