  • There will be a little bit of a clean up happening at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl late on Sunday 12 March, between the handover of the Future Entertainment and Hardwarecorp run Kiss My Grass party and Earthcore's Earthcore in the Park event on Monday 13 March. The battle is on to catch the day party dollar, though in the case of Kiss My Grass the party is a fundraiser event for Melbourne radio station Kiss FM. Kiss My Grass is being held in conjunction with Future Entertainment and Hardware Corp as a means to raise funds for the station and increase public awareness regarding Kiss FM’s recent return on-air. Kiss has been back on air for 9 months of broadcasting. This event will showcase Djs and live acts over five genre-specific sound stages, including the main headliners stage, a breaks, hip hop and drum and bass stage, a house, funk and disco stage, an electro, trance and techno stage, and the Club Lunch Industry stage (are you cool enough?) The confirmed line-up includes DJs Sean Quinn, Vandalism, Mark James, Richie Rich, Timmy Byrne, Papa Smurf, Luke Bowditch, Ivan Gough (TV Rock), Mark John, A-Style, Phrase, DJ Peril featuring Suburban Intellect, Acid Jacks, Phil K, Weapon X and Ken Hell, Honeysmack, Bing Bong, J-Red, James Ash and Dirty Laundry with many more to follow. Kiss My Grass happens on Sunday 12 March at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. The event is a day-night one, running from 12pm to 10pm. Tickets are on sale from today for $25 for early birds and $35 full price.
