Playtime, one of the success stories over the past 12 months, continues where it left off by going strong on all fronts to start 2006. The club, one of the most jackin upfront offerings London clubbing has to offer, is back in gear after a two month hiatus.

Headlining the next Playtime at Egg night on Febrary 24 night are Abe Duque, Marc Romboy (Systematic), Cass & Mangan (Fine / Playtime). The Playtime boys have been big fans of Cass and Mangan’s work with Tom’s ‘L-O-V-E’ the next release on the label. The full line-up takes shape as below:

This year looks to be even bigger than 05, in both the club and at the label. New Residents include David Duriez (Brique Rouge / Paris) and Supa DJ Dmitry (Dee-Lite / NYC) who will play quarterly alongside Mike Monday and Big Daddy monthly. Whilst the Playtime troop will also host the bar at Ministry four times in 2006.

On the Playtime Records front, new tracks by Cass & Mangan plus the Insignificant Others, the Wanted, King Roc and Big Daddy and a new Mike Monday mini-album due May - an 8-track EP set the tone for a strong year on all fronts. 37 Comments
