  • The dance music duo famous for their high quality production that consistently breaks into the mainstream charts has today converted their popularity into the general recording industry. The Chemical Brothers took home 2 Grammys this year in last nights 48th annual Grammy Awards show. The first for Best Dance Recording (Singles or tracks only) with Galvanize against some tough competition with 'Say Hello' from Deep Dish, 'Daft Punk Is Playing At My House' from LCD Soundsystem, 'Guilt Is A Useless Emotion' from New Order and 'Wonderful Night' from Fatboy Slim & Lateef. Their second award and the second of only two dance categories was for Best Electronic/Dance Album with their massively promoted Push The Button on Astralwerks. Again knocking LCD Soundsystem and Fatboy Slim from an award and beating Daft Punk and Kraftwerk to the line. In other dance related awards, Louie Vega's EOL mix of Curtis Mayfield's 'Superfly' won the Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical award over Freeland, Guetta and Jaques Lu Cont. Full results across the board can be found on the Official Grammy website.
