  • Bulgaria will host SEEME, its first ever dance music festival including conferences, exhibitions and club nights, from May 18-21. The South East Europe Music Exhibition (SEEME) will be the first ever dance music festival held in South East Europe and to be more precise, in Sofia, Bulgaria. The festival aims to be a place for those in the dance and electronic music industry to make new friends, maybe even business partners and vital industry contacts. It will also provide a chance to catch the latest trends and technologies and feature an extensive night programme at clubs and venues around Sofia. The main aim of the festival is to ‘create an environment for networking, music discovery and business contacts for professionals from the electronic and dance music arenas’. The actual event will stretch over four days with conferences, network lounges for all industry types, panels and workshops with influential keynote speakers and critical discussion. Before then it will kick off with an online interaction service enabling participants and those wishing to attend the event to get in contact each other. SEEME's message is 'Music is the universal code' and the ‘Night’ programme will, without doubt, gather the most interest. New artists will be showcased and new material will be road tested with over 100 DJs expected to participate. Underground local heros will mix it up alongside internationals including James Zabiela and the Scratch Perverts and more to be announced soon, with renowned nightclubs like Chervilo, Lifehouse, and Escape expected to see the alto of action. Early-bird tickets priced at 195 euros are on sale until May 1st, thereafter tickets will be available for 260 euros.
