James Holden to launch Encompass 2006 Festival


Organisers of the Encompass Festival planned for May 11-13 will be hosting a special midweek party at the Great Eastern Hotel in Liverpool to announce the details of the 2006 festival.

Organisers of the Encompass Festival planned for May 11-13 will be hosting a special midweek party at the Great Eastern Hotel in Liverpool to announce the details of the 2006 festival.

Djing on the school night will be one of the hottest DJs/Producers of the last 12 months James Holden. The Border Community star who will release his double mix CD ‘At The Controls’ (Full news here) through the forward-thinking Resist label on March 27th, will be joined by Phonica Records very own Anthony Hill. Cybersonica will be providing sonic art installations on the night.

The Encompass 2006 Festival will take place in London across 7 night time venues including Herbal, Cargo, The Rhythm Factory and 1 day time venue over 3 days this May (Thursday May 11, Friday May 12, Saturday May 13).

The mid-week launch party on March 9th is an invite-only event, so time to call in the favours.

Although god knows I'll be done in after Miami, I have house guests that weekend who will likely want to go.Its Howells Dig Deeper at the End on the friday we get back.... Ouch!Ha! All yours mate, all yours. I'm more worried about recovering enough for a hit and run Friday night mission to Frankfurt on Friday 7th.
