  • Fifteen years and nearly 800 issues later, 3D World has become one of the most comprehensive and entertaining street mags Australia has ever seen. For many people, especially in Sydney, the magazine is closely-linked to some of their earliest experiences in the club scene. Many can recall picking up the free publication off the street on a Monday morning while still feeling a little worse for wear; thoughts already turned to planning the next weekend's foray into the abyss. The 800th issue isn't just a milestone but will also be part of a huge overhaul of the magazine including a major redesign, shake up in content plus the introduction of a new and improved lifestyle section called My World. The issue will be on the streets Monday March 20 so make sure you grab a slice of Australian clubbing history. To celebrate this momentous occasion, 3D World are putting on a huge party bringing 15 years worth of DJs together including some of the up-and-comers currently making waves in the clubs. The line-up reads like a history book on Sydney clubbing with Jumping Jack, James Taylor (AU), Ben Korbel, Liquid M, the Impossibles, Basskleph and John Glover to name just a few. It's quite possible that every genre has been catered to, from house, progressive and breaks to trance, hard house, techno and more. The venue hosting this fantastic night on March 25 will be World Bar in Kings Cross, and to make things even more special, you can gain free entry between 10pm and midnight if you RSVP to [email protected]. Since there are no ticket sales for this party, you should look at arriving early. For full details on 3D World's 800th party, see below.
