Âme will be bringing their deep house vibes to the
Aquabooty and Music2 event at this year's WMC.
It's been two years since Kristian Beyer from Âme last attended the Conference and on his return voyage, he's most excited about the chance to play with legendary deep house guru, DJ Harvey, who he says, is 'one of my idols'.
You must have had your head in the sand if you haven't heard the track 'Rej' by Âme which has been causing mass hysteria on dancefloors around the globe. Dropped by everyone from John Tejada to Sven Vath to Damian Lazarus, Beyer says the duo have also been surprised by its success,
"We are really glad about this, but we never expected it. A friend of mine said maybe it's been successful because we just do what we do without thinking about other people's opinions".
Whether or not Âme drop 'Rej' at the Aquabooty and Music2 party at this year's WMC remains to be seen but keep an ear out for the Henrik Schwarz, Âme and Dixon collaboration, 'Where We At' and I:Cube's 'Acid tablette', which Beyer says will be sureplayers for the duo. He also predicts Henrik Schwarz's remix of Coldcut remix 'Walking A Mile' as one of the possible standout tunes of the WMC.
Aquabooty and Music2 Miami 2006 takes place at The Pawn Shop with Âme and an all-star line-up of deep bumpin' soulful house and taunt twisted Berlin beats on March 25th, 2006.
