  • Tiesto brings his 'In Search Of Sunrise 5' Asia Tour to Tokyo's Studio Coast (aka ageHa) in Shin Kiba next Monday night on the eve of the Spring Equinox Holiday. 'Cybertrance' (as euphoric trance is sometimes called in Japan), has made its way into the more mainstream avenues of Japanese society thanks largely to record label giant Avex. Often heard in the most unlikely of places like revolving sushi bars - perhaps it speeds up digestion when forced to consume 7 pieces in 30 minutes - and pachinko gambling parlours, the style of music has become the point of entry for many young Japanese experiencing clubbing for the first time. Riding that crest of trance popularity in Tokyo is of course, Dutch trance star and MagikMuzik's Tiesto, who makes a long-awaited return to the city next Monday in support of his 'In Search Of Sunrise 5' mix CD. Tiesto will play the gargantuan ageHa Arena with its 38 speakers arranged in Daytona fashion around the 2500-capacity main room. Expect mass euphoria and breakdowns when he takes to the six turntable and four CDJ ageHa DJ booth. Tiesto plays Studio Coast (aka ageHa) supported by Japanese DJ, Yoda on March 20th, 2006.
