Get ready for the sound of the seventh season as Cocoon returns to Amnesia and Ibiza in 2006 with Wildlife 2.
Sven Vath's Cocoon empire will once again host its Ibiza residency on Monday nights at Amnesia this summer. Named Wildlife 2 and subtitled 'the crazyness continues', the fourteen week residency begins June 19th, 2006 and will primarily play host to many of Germany's cutting edge producers and DJs.
Joining Sven Vath over the course of the summer will be Ricardo Villalobos (scheduled to play six times on the Terrace including a back-to-back set with Richie Hawtin) and guest DJs including the Berghain's André Galluzzi, Toni Rios, Dorian Paic, Meat, C-Rock, Pascal FEOS, Dominik Eulberg, Playhouse's Ata, James Holden, Vakant's Onur Ozer, SonarKollektiv's Âme, Miss Kittin, Steve Bug, new Cocoon Club Frankfurt resident Karotte, Tobi Neumann and Luciano. The residency will also feature live PAs from Johannes Heil, Matthew Dear, Pier Bucci, Mathew Jonson and Anthony Rother.
Highlights of the 14-week residency include the first ever Minus night on the island featuring label boss Richie Hawtin, Matthew Dear live, Ricardo Villalobos and Magda and a Cocoon Recordings showcase night with Frank Lorber, Loco Dice, Oliver Koletzki, Pig&Dan and Cocoon-newcomer Chris Tietjen.
