Although nearly lost to a career in graphic design, Kate Wax has channelled her creative energies through music and with her distinct crystal clear voice ridden a wave of much justified success. The widely travelled vocal genius has announced a European tour to compliment a busy year of releases. Her new single ‘Catch The Buzz (dub)’ with remixes by Kalabrese, Roman Flügel and Crowdpleaser will be released in late May in the lead up to her much anticipated album 'Reflections of the Dark Heat' out through the Mental Groove label.
Speaking passionately to RA about her UK tour we have translated she is excited at performing in the capital:"I love London's chaos, I love London's class, it's paradoxes from heaven to hell makes everything possible. Playing in a battlefield where music has won the war is an honour. Soulwax, headman, who made who are my buddies for the night, canvas should be the temple for the night. Next day 93 feet east, for a more intimate gig, where I hope to meet mister London machine man. I know it does exist, like angels and vampires..."
