  • After a short break to restructure, Simple Records has announced a hectic release schedule for the remainder of the year. Beginning in May the label will output a release per month from artists including Phonique, Mike Monday, Content (Jesse Rose), King Roc and label owner Will Saul. As part of the restructure, Mike Place of Build (ex-Designers Republic) has created a new graphic identity for the label, and that of it's new sister Aus Music. Aus Music has been created by Will Saul to focus on the more experimental side of the dancefloor and home listening sounds - with dub, house, techno and electro releases to come. The core artists on the label will be Sideshow (Fink on Ninja Tune and formerly recording on Simple), MyMy (Playhouse/ Just) and Brun (Swayzak), with Will also embarking on a new project for Aus with Sideshow for the Autumn. Upcoming releases including below: Simple 29.05 - Phonique 'Gift EP' (Jeff Samuel remix) 26.06 - Mike Monday? ?Bhalobashi? (Argy & Sideshow remixes) 24.07 - Content ?It?s So...? (Will Saul remix) 04.09 - King Roc ?Kita Mono? (remix tbc)? 02.10 - Will Saul 'Untitled' (remix tbc) 06.11 - Phonique 'Down For Load EP' (Spiritcatcher remix) AUS 12.06 - Sideshow 'Scary Biscuits EP' (John Tejada Remix) 10.07 - MyMy 'Butterflies and Zebras EP' (remix tbc) 14.08 - Brun 'Untitled EP' (remix tbc) Global distribution for both labels has now moved to Word & Sound in Germany.
