The boys behind the UK label Crosstown Rebels, Damian Lazarus and Matthew Styles, have compiled two CDs for the label's latest compilation 'Get Lost!'
Described as 'a deep and tripped out fusion of mighty mastercuts, techno toys and special songs', 'Get Lost!' features exclusive new Crosstown Rebel releases from Mlle Caro, Naum, Ost & Kjex and DJ Koze and tracks from The Knife, Fourtet, John Tejada, Abe Duque,Si Begg, Rob Mello and Monolake.
Lazarus and Styles mixed both CDs together after spending almost six months compiling its 29 tracks. The album is the first mix CD from Damian Lazarus since last year's 'Rebel Futurism 2' and 'Suck My Deck' compilations. Lazarus currently shares a residency with Kompakt's Michael Mayer at Stink in London and will once again hold fort at Ibiza's DC10 this summer.
Crosstown Rebels Label manager, Matthew Styles, has up till now been the label's quiet achiever. However he has recently been earmarked as one to watch following DJ sets at some of the world's best clubs including the Panorama Bar and WMF in Berlin, Pulp in Paris and Fabric in London.
