Space Ibiza Opening Party 2006 Line up Announced

Carl Cox, Sasha, John Digweed, Steve Lawler. Space Ibiza have gone for the big guns for their Opening Party on the first Sunday of June.

"Space Opening June 4th: Glory Daze" says the Space Ibiza website and they're not wrong. For their Opening Party on Sunday, June 4th, Playa d'en Bossa's most lauded venue has gone for a classic line-up.

It wouldn't be a Space Opening Party without Carl Cox and John Digweed and as in past years, the two DJs will again be on hand to officially kick start the Ibiza season for 2006. However this year, they will be joined by Sasha, Steve Lawler and Germany's Tom Novy. Fans of the two Excession DJs should be pleased to see the pair back at Space after the disappointment of their combined Viva! and Fundacion Thursday night residency last summer.

Filling out the rest of the line-up will be Space resident DJs: Sin Plomo, Jon Ulysses, Jose de Divina, Juan Gomez, Oscar Cano, Oscar Colorado, Reche and Susso.

A-list talent like the above doesn't come cheap and advance tickets for the opening party are already available online for 50€, an ominous sign that perhaps door prices will further soar beyond the 50€ mark on the White Isle in 2006.

The Space Opening Party 2006 will be the first edition to take place on the indoor Sunset Terrace, which was unveiled at the We love...Space Opening Party in 2005. Doors will open at 8am on Sunday and close around 6am on Monday, just in time for you to call in 'sick' to the office.
