After a huge launch party with Carl Cox at The Brixton Academy, the wheels are firmly in motion for another South West Four summer extravaganza. Two years of complete sell outs has seen SW4 become a yard stick for large scale outdoor events in London and this year looks like being no different.
This year the South West Four festival returns on Saturday 26th August 2006 to Clapham Common as part of this summer's Metro Weekender (Get Loaded In The Park on the Sunday). The line-up sees SW4 regulars join up with new faces across three arenas in London, and for the first time this year a mirror event in Cardiff.
Last year’s headliners John Digweed and Carl Cox return to the main stage alongside Pete Tong and Paul Oakenfold.
The full SW4 line-up takes shape as below:
Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed, Sander Kleinenberg (Live), Stanton Warriors, James Zabiela, Desyn Masiello
Pete Tong, Steve Lawler, Danny Howells, The Shapeshifters (Live), Nic Fanciulli
Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine, Mauro Picotto, Fergie, Tall Paul, Sander Van Doorn, Matt Hardwick
As in previous years, expect a full scale after party with artists from the festival and maybe even a surprise big name to help with the carry on. Tickets are now on sale and include the full weekend ticket which includes entry to Get Loaded In The Park on Sunday.
