  • London based duo, Cass and Mangan, are another example of established UK producers enjoying a new wave of success as electro house artists. Made up of Chris Cutbush and Tom Mangan, their latest release is a unique take on Robert Palmer's 'I Didn’t Mean To Turn You On' on Satoshi Tomiie's SAW Recordings. Only a few years in partnership, Cass and Mangan are creating some exciting studio magic by embracing as much the analogue sounds of yesteryear as the current flavour for digital distortion. It's been a busy 12 months for the duo with a host of remixes and original works finding success in different pockets of the electronic world. This latest release sees Cass and Mangan put a contemporary edge to the original, delivering an underground hit with great crossover potential. Expect the 'Radio Edit' to receive some heavy rotation and fill vacant floor spaces with its deliberately catchy hook. The 'Remix Dub' comes courtesy of new kid on the block Eames (Private Joy). 'I Didn’t Mean To Turn You On' is out through SAW Recordings on May 2nd, 2006
