  • Someone must have whispered in Madonna's ear because she's been on the phone to a tasty roster of remixers for the next single off her 'Confessions on a Dance Floor' album. 'Confessions' surprised many in the dance community for its allegiance to straight up club music production and the lineup for 'Get Together' is further proof Madonna is taking careful advice. This time Tiefschwarz, James Holden, and Danny Howells line up for the honour alongside 'Confessions' producer and Madonna confidente-in-chief Stuart Price, aka electrohouse guru Jacques Lu Cont. With the previous major label James Holden remix 'Breathe on Me' being binned because the suits didn't like Holden's creative distortions of Spears' vocal, it comes as a relief that both Warner Brothers and Madge - a control freak by her own admission - are down with his latest efforts on this occasion. Danny Howells adds another string to his bow as remixer to the stars following his rerub of Destiny Child's 'Soldier' last year. Always a musical maverick, let's hope the Madonna treatment only changes his taste in paisley shirts and not his signature funk. German electrohouse tastemakers Tiefschwartz are the dark horse in this race and can be expected to put 'Get Together' through their sausage machine with interesting results. Current single 'Sorry' from the same album featured remixes from Green Velvet, Oakenfold, and the Pet Shop Boys.
