Blowing up your headphones and speakers this week on the RA Podcast is German sound surgeon Chris de Luca.
In this podcast Chris slices and rearranges a hard drive of hip hop and electronica, all with his signature distorted funk. In what may be a record number of tracks for the RA Podcast, de Luca drops big guns such as Snoop Dog, Eminem, Missy Elliot and Kelis alongside new favourites like Uffie and Jackson and his Computer Band. One particular section rocks the pop grooves of the 90's with such classics as Vanilla Ice (Ice, Ice Baby), C&C Music Factory (Everybody Dance Now), Snap (I've got the Power) and Kris Kross (Jump).
To access the Podcast you need to be a registered RA member. Membership is both free and painless so jump on board. The podcast will be available to non-registered RA readers one week later, but by that time there will be another shiny new podcast waiting for you to register.
You can access past Podcast's from the RA Podcast link in the left-hand navigation. The section will tell you everything you need to know about how to subscribe to the RA Podcast and provide links to the various mixes available.
