Mulletover parties have a reputation for hush-hush locations, silly costumes and DJs who know the meaning of fun. July 22nd sees Berlin’s Zip and Dinky flying over to join the party.
But first: what is a Mulletover? RA has never heard of the term. Is it when you've got bald action on top but a party at the back so you flip the mullet over to make it into a fringe? WTF? How could you, London?
Top of the night’s bill is Berlin tech house DJ
Dinky, high on the Mulletover most-wanted list. As a producer Dinky is most known for her hit 'Acid In My Fridge' from the 'Cocoon D' compilation and her stints at Cocoon's 2005 Ibiza residency playing alongside Sven Vath, Ricardo Villalobos and Miss Kittin.
Joining Dinky on Easyjet will be
Zip,
Panoramabar resident, head honcho of minimal techno stable Perlon and a man with a reputation for lifting the mood. Perlon has just released the fourth installment in its 'Superlongevity' compilation series, which features a track by Zip under his production alias
Dimbiman.
Ever the style maven, Mulletover resident
Geddes will be turning out in flip-flops, wraparound sunglasses and Bermuda shorts and encourages others to do the same. Mull that one over.
This time the location is no secret at all – the fun takes place at their headquarters at the EQ Warehouse on July 22nd.
