Ask any house jock what UK labels are hot right now and chances are they’ll say deep house imprint Buzzin' Fly. Label head Ben Watt celebrates the American release of his ‘Buzzin’ Fly Vol. 3’ mix with a series of dates across the US.
Buzzin' Fly is run by Ben Watt, a name you’ll know from Everything But The Girl, but these days he’s a DJ and a fine one, too, with his monthly Sunday parties at Plastic People highly rated by London clubbers. American house fans can catch a slice of the action over the next couple of weeks at a series of club dates in New York, Dallas, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Watt’s latest mix ‘Buzzin’ Fly Vol. 3’ is heavily acclaimed for its original mix of deep house and unreleased extracts from his spoken word project ‘Outspoken’. For a taste of what to expect at the shows, check out his mix on Samurai.fm.
