Goldfrapp has a new remix album ‘We Are Glitter’ due out October 17 on Mute. The album features both dance artists and non-dance artists on tracks mostly pulled from Goldfrapp’s last album ‘Supernature’. A re-worked version of ‘Strict Machine’ from 2003’s ‘Black Cherry’ is also included with Goldfrapp themselves at the controls. This track appears on the forthcominig ‘Miami Vice’ movie soundtrack.

Dance offerings include tasty tracks by Carl Craig, the DFA, Benny Benassi, François K, T. Raumschmiere and Ewan Pearson. Non-dance engineers include the Flaming Lips and Múm.

Goldfrapp have also produced a video podcast this month. ‘Episode 1: The PodChat’ is available now. It lasts fifteen minutes and can be downloaded free. You can subscribe directly using your favourite Podcast client and this feed: http://www.goldfrapp.com/frappcast.xml.
