The line-up included a few of the world's best DJ's including DJ Heaven, The Freestylers, Paul Mac and more... the venue was Wharf 3, situated on Sydney's amazing harbour.. and the event that ran from 9:00pm til 9:00am had people buying tickets at great speed. Approximately 13,000 tickets were sold and another 1,000 given away for the venue which was licensed to hold only a decent sized crowd of 8,000.
As one can imagine this caused a great deal of pain for punters who were not allowed access to Harbour Beats on New Years Eve due to overcrowding. The promoters of the event, Dakota Creative, have indicated they will be issuing full refunds to those that were rejected on the night. Ticketholders in need of refunds should go to 27/94 Oxford St, Darlinghurst between 10:00am - 4:00pm today and tomorrow.
