One of New York favourite sons,
Danny Tenaglia, will debut at Pacha, the city's newest superclub this Saturday. The special one-off session will be the first time Tenaglia has played an all-night set in NYC since the closing of the Vinyl/Arc nightclub in 2004, the home of his five-year Be Yourself weekly residency.
Tenaglia and Pacha are also donating a VIP package to the night in conjunction with Involved Events, a charity company run by Sasha’s dad. The package includes VIP entrance and free admission for four, a VIP table behind the DJ Booth, a premium bottle of liquor valued at $325, Tenaglia’s latest CD ‘Dibiza’, a gift bag and a “collector’s item from Danny’s personal collection’. Highest bidder also gets to meet Tenaglia on the night.
Involved’s dance music auctions have proved very popular with previous efforts raising money for kids affected by the Asian tsunami, victims of Hurricane Katrina and the earthquake in Kashmir. Proceeds from this auction will go towards UNICEF.
