This weekend the Reworks Festival takes place in Thessaloniki with Dominik Eulberg, Sleeparchive, Michael Mayer and M.A.N.D.Y...
Thessaloniki's Reworks Festival is a night of electronic music and visual art that almost slipped under the radar of RA's festival hunter and gatherers. This year is only the second time it's been held but like the first installment the emphasis is on minimal house/techno, electro and electrohouse with DJ sets by Dominik Eulberg, Michael Mayer, and M.A.N.D.Y plus live sets from Ada, Anders Ilar, Anthony Rother, Sleeparchive and Modeselektor.
Electronic music and multimedia/art installations will be showcased on four stages titled Remake, Reconstruct, Rebuilt and Reprocess with an atrium and dark room where short films by budding Grecian filmmakers will be screened. There'll also a be market with stores hosted by arty bookstores, local record stores and record labels.
Reworks Festival takes place at the Mylos Complex in Thessaloniki, Greece on Saturday, September 30, 2006.
