Alphahouse label head Butane’s monthly techno parties in St. Louis have been a must stop for touring artists for three years, with the likes of Daniel Bell, Madga and Jay Haze swinging through its doors. But much to the despair of St. Louisians, Butane is picking up sticks and defecting to Berlin in 2007, and this month is the final Alphahouse bash.
But it looks like they’re going out in style. With a lineup featuring
Ryan Elliott, Ryan Crosson and RA podcasters
Butane, Dennis Rodgers and
Bill Patrick, the Upstairs Lounge in St. Louis is sure to get messy.
This momentous event is a red carpet affair, with valet service, $300 champagne service and preferential entry for the famous. Not.
