  • Want to rave with thousands of bikini-clad babes and boys in boardshorts? Get to the Zoukout Festival on Siloso Beach Singapore, which rolls around next month. The locals provide the bums and bare chests, while Soulwax, Ferry Corsten and Kerri Chandler provide the beats. Zoukout is the annual twelve-hour outdoor dance festival organised by Singapore's longest-running superclub Zouk. Now in its sixth year, the night is one of the few Saturdays when the normal club shuts its doors, shifting instead to the white sands of Silosa Beach on Sentosa Island. It's also one of the few nights you can see a sizable proportion of its clubbing population in beach-cum-rave wear. The headliners are usually tried-and-tested DJs that have packed out the club on Jia Kim Street in Singers proper. This year's line-up includes past Zouk faves Ferry Corsten, Steve Lawler, Jazzy Jeff, Matthew Dekay, The Cuban Brothers, Ben Sims and Kerri Chandler plus Singapore first-timers Soulwax/2 Many DJs. They'll be joined by Zouk residents Aldrin, Andrew Chow, Brendon P, DJ B, Jeremy Boon, Tony Tay and Sonny as well as other local acts. Don't like dance music? That's OK as the Mambo Jambo arena will again host top 40 tunes and eighties classics. Zoukout 2006 happens at Siloso Beach, Sentosa in Singapore on Saturday, December 9, 2006.
