  • Space disco, dark electro and French house are on the menu for Together at Turnmills in London this month, all at a super discount. Room One will be hosted by Norwegians Lindstrom & Prins Thomas together with French luminary Etienne de Crecy, whose bass-house Super Discount project with Alex Gopher lead the first French revolution in dance back in the nineties. Top of the bill are beardo disco double act Lindstrom and Prins Thomas, who'll jam their way through both live and DJ sets of disco, funk and Italo. Room Two is commanded by Oliver Huntemann [Gigolo Records], who hooked up with studio whiz Stephan Bodzin earlier this year on his longplayer 'Fieber'. Huntemann will spin the dark side of electrohouse along with indie-dance-remixers-cum-new-ravers Simian Mobile Disco. SMD are the new cool cats after mates Justice transformed their 'Never Be Alone' into club dance-rock anthem 'We Are Your Friends' so singing aloong will be compulsory. Elsewhere in the building you can catch Justin Robertson, Anil Chawla, Mike Oman, The Nextmen, Kids in Tracksuits and the Streetlife DJs plus roving entertainers Fishseekbicycle. "Together on a budget" is this month's theme so expect cheaper-than-usual entry, free haircuts, a swap shop and a dress code of "geek chic". Thriftiest outfit wins the booty so raid your local charity shop and hang on to the receipt. Lindstrom & Prins Thomas, Oliver Huntemann, Etienne de Crecy and Simian Mobile Disco play Together at Turnmills on Saturday, November 25, 2006.
