The comp also features an Ellen Allien remix of Safety Sissors and a new Allien & Apparat track.

Mon, 26 Mar 2007there are some inconsistencies within my review in retrospect, but 'trancey hugeness' was added by the invisible editor, and was not of my own doing.

bpitch control has been around for years, but i get a sense now - especially with 'orchestra of bubbles,' that ellen allien is a name now known outside of techno circles.

the single was meerly 'okay', and a step back compared to a truly engaging remix of 'baby kate,' and some of his previous singles.

the review in it's original form... More

Fri, 23 Mar 2007'trademark trancey hugeness'?? er, if you say so. I'd say only sometimes and hardly 'trademark' dude.

This is a lot more like his regular fall-back sound (see his 'Bravo' album for more) and while it's not anything more than just 'nice' overall, it's a hugely better than 'Auf Aix' which is completely nondescript and adjectives like 'killer' being thrown around are pretty baffling to me...

Also 'rapidly rising Bpitch Control family' how rapidly can a label that's been pretty much... More

Thu, 22 Mar 2007im big on funke, but i felt just a little let down with this - in wake of his killer 'auf aix' single and aforementioned remix

Wed, 21 Mar 2007The    review of Sascha Funke get the wrong end of the stick - the Sascha Funke track is perfectly fine, much better than the Larsson - lush, deep, trancey - beautifully understated stuff.
