Ball-achingly hip label Modular celebrates the releases of two new records with a huge nu-rave up at Together next week. MSTRKRFT, Klaxons, Hot Chip and Green Velvet star.

Canadian duo rockers turned housers MSTRKRFT headline room one to plug their debut LP ‘The Looks’ which sees a UK release this month (finally). Support in room one comes from the only man to have ever DJed with suction cups attached to his skull – we refer of course to Chicago house legend Green Velvet. Local heroes Mr C and Toby Tobias [Rekids] fill out the housey bill.

Room two is headed up by electro-poppers Hot Chip, who’ll be spinning a DJ set, Parisian glitch electro star Para One (listen out for his new remix of Bloc Party’s ‘The Prayer) with support from London house mainstay and Together resident Justin Robertson.

Room three is Modular, Modular and more Modular, celebrating the release of new label comp ‘Leave Them All Behind 2’. Headliner is the DJ arm of the Aussie record label, Ajax, but be prepared for a tight squeeze as Modular have also brought in The Gossip, Klaxons and New Young Pony Club for a spot of DJ jiggery. The Beatles Klaxons will be spinning their second Together party, which The Gossip will be racing off the stage at their sell-out Astoria gig to hit the decks for their ‘official after party’.

Elsewhere, as always, party people Fishseeksbicyle will host fun and games in the cinema lounge, whilst upstairs the Together All-Stars get even sillier with a comedy soundtrack of 80s pop, TV themes and party games. This month’s fancy dress theme is military garb, and as ever, prizes will be awarded to the ‘Best Dressed’. An opportunity to get your Rambo on? Want to know what you’re in for? Check out the photos from the last Together party for hints. WARNING: Link contains men dressed as bananas.

And don’t forget the afterparty from 5am till brunchtime upstairs, featuring special guests to be announced.

Modular Gets Together happens at Turnmills, London on February 24th, 2007.
