  • John Digweed is launching his new mix CD ‘Transitions 2’ with a party in Nottingham this Friday. If you’re a true fan you’ll be camped out in Nottingham already, but RA and Renaissance are giving slowpokes a final chance to win VIP tickets to the bash plus a copy of the album. Get in quick. The party is a Renaissance affair, and of course Digweed and the label go way back to the early nineties. Diggers' latest brainchild on the label is the Transitions mix series, and volume two hit shelves last week. This time Pope John has trancey techno on the menu with a rash of producers such as Abyss, David K, Guy Gerber and Williams taking centrestage. The party this Friday will be Digweed's first Nottingham date in four years, and he’ll be spinning a three-hour set alongside Renaissance label manager/DJ Marcus James. To celebrate the release of 'Transitions 2', RA is giving away one pair of VIP tickets to the album launch party plus five signed copies of the album to those who can’t make it to Nottingham. But get in quick, the competition ends February 6, 2007 at midnight GMT so get clicking here to be in to win. John Digweed plays the Renaissance presents 'Transitions 2' album launch party at Stealth in Nottingham on Friday, February 9, 2007.
