  • NRK hand it over to Chicago house legend Ron Trent for their latest ‘Coast2Coast’ compilation to be released in March. Trent’s volume follows up efforts from Quentin Harris and Kerri Chandler, and like previous volumes the 2CD features a mix and unmixed picks. Trent's ‘Coast2Coast’ mix features the deep emotive house of ‘Playin 4 The City’ soulful vocal cuts such as the Blaze rework of Stephanie Cook's ‘What Makes The World Go Round’ and Roland Clarke's ‘Sunshine’ as well a couple of cuts from Trent himself. Considered to be one of the founding fathers of the Chicago scene, Trent DJs, produces and also runs Prescription Records, widely regarded as one of the most influential deep house imprints, releasing the likes of Abacus, Moody Man, Peven Everett, Rob Mello, and Luke Solomon. ‘Coast2Coast’ mixed by Ron Trent CD 1 (Mixed): 01.
