Belgian techno club Fuse lays off the harder stuff to cosy up to minimal funkster Steve Bug for its latest compilation. 'Fuse presents Steve Bug' hits shelves in April.

Fuse is Belgium's premier techno club, but those outside of Benelux probably know it for its compilation series 'Fuse presents', which has focused on the harder end of techno and electro. Previous volumes have included Dave Clarke, DJ Hell, Technasia and Joris Voorn.

Next up, however, is Poker Flat label boss Steve Bug, who brings his hypnotic minimal and funky tech house to the series. The sixteen tracks were edited by Bug in Ableton Live and incude classics such as Rhythim Is Rhythim's 'The Dance' and cuts from emerging producers Pier Bucci, My My and Efdemin. Martin Landsky, Guido Schneider and Vincenzo from Bug's Poker Flat and Dessous stables also appear.

'Fuse presents Steve Bug' tracklist

1. Plasmik - Eight To Nine
2. Pier Bucci - Hay Consuelo (Samim Remix)
3. Namito - Joujou (Martin Landsky Remix)
4. Johnny Dangerous - Problem #13 (Beat That Bitch)
5. Seph - Dash (Heartthrob's Acid For Bongo Interpretation)
6. Guido Schneider - Halo
7. Efdemin - Lohn & Brot
8. Mikael Stavöstrand feat. Big Bully - No Turning Back
9. Steve Bug - Wet
10. Guido Schneider feat. Florian Schirmacher - Transmission (Bets‘N’Bluffs Edit)
11. Foremost Poets - Reasons To Be Dismal? (Beyondsight version)
12. Square one - Vesuvius (Justin Martin’s ‘I Hope It Doesn’t Blow’ Mix)
13. MyMy - Moneybowl
14. Bangana - Skrik (Dub)
15. Move D - Anne Will (Vincenzo Remix)
16. Rhythim Is Rhythim - The Dance (Living Room Mix)

The compilation will be released as a single CD as well as two separate 12"s containing selected tracks. Steve Bug will play the launch party for the CD at the club on March 31, 2007 supported by Martin Landksy and the Fuse residents.

'Fuse presents Steve Bug' is released on Music Man on April 16, 2007.
