This will be Buzzin' Fly's third year in Miami, and this time it’s also something of a record release party with Buzzin’ Fly #25 'We Are Silver' fresh off the presses. The A-side is Dennis Ferrer and Steve Martinez remix of ‘Lone Cat’, Ben Watt’s first single on Buzzin’ Fly, and the B-side is a Jimpster rerub of Justin Martin’s classic ‘The Sad Piano.’ “Although it's a small milestone, it still feels like quite a good one so we thought we'd do something special,” Ben Watt told RA. “We're going to have silver, foil blocked artwork on the front cover, and I thought I'd have a bit of fun with it.” The London label bills themselves as “deep electronic house, techno, bleeps, alt vocals and maximal grooves”, but if you want to swat up on their sound, check out RA’s recent features on Jimpster, Justin Martin and Ben Watt. Alex Santos? Google is your friend – but if you’ve been anywhere near ‘Lose Control’ by his Darkmountaingroup project on Buzzin’ Fly you’ll know you’re in for quality sound. The Buzzin’ Fly Miami WMC party takes place at the 650 capacity Sobe Live in Miami Beach on March 22nd.
