Bremen star Stephan Bodzin unveils a debut longplayer. ‘Liebe ist…’ hits shelves in early May on CD and 3x12” vinyl.
Before 2004, Bodzin was happy lurking in the background, producing music for experimental theatre and engineering tracks for the likes of Oliver Huntemann. All that changed in 2005 when Bodzin got great feedback for his debut solo track ‘Caligula/Marathon Man’, which convinced him to try his hand at his own production career. And what a success it has been: In two short years he’s had his name plastered over dozens of rated 12”s, collaborations and remixes, all branded with his signature Moog bass and all instantly recognizable as Bodzin.
Bodzin’s debut album ‘Liebe ist…’ (‘Love is…’) arrives on his own label Herzblut, and features ten new cuts as well as his club hit ‘Kerosene’, which has been supported by everyone from John Digweed to Roman Flugel.
The Holden-esque first single from the album ‘Liebe Ist’ can be streamed over at Stephan Bodzin’s MySpace page. The single arrives on April 4, 2007.

Stephan Bodzin is also on tour around Europe and later North America in support of the release. Most of the dates are DJ dates, but look out for live sets over the summer in selected venues.
