Michael Mayer, Shackleton and Cobblestone Jazz are some of the first artists confirmed to play this year's Mutek Festival in Montreal.
Mutek is North America's premier experimental techno and electronic festival. In 2007 more than eighty artists are expected to descend on Montreal in May and June, and to tempt early birds to pick up advance tickets, which go on sale tomorrow, Mutek have released a partial line-up.
2007 looks like a cracker with newer artists such as Digitaline, Pantha Du Prince, My My, Kode 9, Jesse Somfay, Gui Boratto, and Hearthrob appearing alongside established favourites such as Michael Mayer, Rhythm & Sound, Shackleton and the Wighnomy Brothers.
Also signed on are Mathew Jonson's live project Cobblestone Jazz, Matias Aguayo & Roccness, Candie Hank, Chic Miniature, Gangpol & Mit, and Someone Else.
The full program will be announced on April 23rd so keep checking RA Events for the latest updates.
Mutek 2007 takes place from May 30 to June 3, 2007 in Montreal.
