Latest album from Luomo’s experimental alter ego Vladislav Delay promises sound exploration, distortions and dub technologies. ‘Whistleblower’ will be released in late April.
It’s been ten years since Sasu Ripatti released his first record (‘The Kind Of Blue EP’) as Vladislav Delay, his outlet for non-club soundscapes and musical experiments. The new album consists of seven songs, promising “a resurgence of his older drug-infused sound-states”, according to the press notes. But don’t expect background and ambient music, like his previous Delay releases, ‘Whistleblower’ promises to reward close listening.
Check out the track ‘I Saw a Polysexual’ as a taster for the album. You can also buy the complete album, and other Luomo/Vladislav Delay/Uisitalo releases directly from the artist at discounted rates.
