Sixth album from the Chems features guest spots from Klaxons and Fatlip from The Pharcyde. ‘We are the Night’ arrives in June.

Recorded in a bomb proof bunker in South London, the album promises to “evoke the dancefloors of Manchester and Minneapolis in the early eighties and London of 2007.”

As with previous albums, ‘We are...’ features guest vocalists and players, including nu-ravers Klaxons on ‘All Nights Reserved’, singer-songwriter Willy Mason on ‘Battle Scars’ and rock band Midlake on ‘The Pills Won’t Help Now’. Ali Love guests on the first single from the album ‘Do It Again’, due to hit shelves on June 4th.

‘We are the Night’ follows on from 2005’s ‘Push the Button’ which spawned the hit single ‘Galvanize’.

Sun, 02 Sep 2007It is wonderful that they have hit the big time HOWEVER going to watch them in an arena in Sydney like the Entertainment Centre and be stuck in a seat (please of please do a couple of gigs in smaller arenas as you used to do in the past where everyone could dance and do whatever)with 10000 others all dying to get into it is a little BORING
Please dont forget we diehard fans of many years who have come to your gigs in the smaller venues who know what you can really do
Cheers
Chris
